目前影響我們每箇人的機器智能普遍應用其實是推薦算法（TikTok），另自動駕駛也已走向現實。對於工具，對於普通用戶，也許應用比原理更為重要。
機器智能除了能夠輔助人類進而加速文明進程，還可以解放人的雙手與大腦，讓人類有更多的閒暇時間享受生命本身與人類知識。機器智能作為人類工具，能夠用來造福也能夠用來危害，就如核動力與原子彈，取決我們如何使用。對於潛在威脅，需要時刻考慮制約權力，透過治理實現去風險。
